How long have you been a yoga instructor? Almost three years.
Which yoga classes do you teach (both brewery yoga and non-brewery yoga)? I teach complimentary classes for residents at Colonial Reserve and a variety of pop-up classes for NC Yoga Bar.
What made you start doing yoga? I used to be a dedicated runner. It didn't take long to realize that I needed something more restorative and relaxing to balance my cardio and weight-training.
What’s your favorite part of teaching brewery yoga? The laid-back atmosphere and the variety of students it attracts.
What has been the most challenging part of teaching yoga for you? I think yoga teaches us to see our "challenges" as opportunities ;)
What’s one thing you would want to tell somebody who was considering attending a brewery yoga class? Stop considering and take the first step. You'll feel better.
What do you want people to know about your yoga studio? NC Yoga Bar is unique in its offerings. With multiple locations and a variety of teachers, we're able to make attendance convenient for students regardless of where they live or what their experience level is.
What’s your favorite beer in Charlotte? Toughie! It's a toss-up between the Salty Coconut from Sycamore or the Jalepeno Pale Ale from Birdsong.
