How did you first find out about Work For Your Beer? Social media. I attended my very first class in April, and have gone almost every week since! I rarely miss a Wednesday night workout!
What made you want to be a part of the Work For Your Beer community? I love the fact that there is a community of people that like to work out, mingle and enjoy Kombucha or beers!
Which brewery fitness classes do you attend? Twerk for Your Beer
What gets you excited to work out? Great music!!
What’s your go-to pump up song? One of my favorites in class is Swalla by Jason Derulo OR Look But Don't Touch by Empire Cast, Serayah
How long have you been attending fitness classes? I have been trying out several fitness studios in Charlotte over the last 3 years.
What made you start attending group fitness classes? I love how fun the environment is, and it holds me accountable when I am working out with other people.
What is your favorite kind of group fitness class? Kara’s Twerk class is by far my favorite fitness class! It doesn’t feel like you are working out, because the music is great, dance moves are not too overwhelming (as someone that has bad rhythm, I enjoy this time to embrace my inner twerk diva).
What’s your favorite part of going to brewery fitness classes? Seeing friends, having a great workout, and hydrating with a Kombucha at Lenny Boy after (best Kombucha!!!)
What’s one thing you would want to tell somebody who was considering attending a brewery fitness class? If you want to meet people that have the same mindset as you, definitely check out one of the many classes Work for your Beer offers - from yoga, to dance, to barre, to dog walking!
What’s your favorite beer in Charlotte? Not really a beer drinker, but I do love cider, and I am obsessed with all things Blueberry - so I do enjoy Good Road Ciderworks “Blue Byway.”
Why do you love Work For Your Beer? All of the girls from Work for your Beer are so sweet! They make me smile the moment I walk into class, and I am so happy to have found them! Kara turns my stressful Wednesday work days around...by dancing my booty off!
Anything else you’d like to tell us? I am typically a morning working out girl. For me to work out at night, it has to be something fun, and that is why I adore the Work for your Beer community. I leave work and head over two blocks to get my sweat on...then I feel amazing and I can go home to dinner and a great night’s sleep!!
