From day one, our goal for Work For Your Beer has been to grow the beer fitness community in Charlotte and beyond.
We started by creating a website that acted as the ultimate guide to beer fitness in the Queen City, where you could find a master calendar of the 80+ weekly fitness activities going on at breweries and other beer-serving locations in the greater Charlotte area as well as full details about each individual class (including where it happens, when it happens, how much it cost, who the instructor was, the vibe of the class, the parking situation, and more).
With the website, naturally, came the blog. A place where we could feature members of the beer fitness community for their tireless dedication to living a healthy, balanced lifestyle. A place where we could write about products and services that our audience would actually care about, and that would help them stick to their health and fitness goals.
From December 1, 2016 to July 19, 2017, we have gotten more than 50,000 unique visitors to our website overall, and we're now seeing more than 11,000 pageviews per week.
And we have our passionate community of active beer-lovers in the Charlotte area to thank for that!
And of course, along with the website, blog, and Weekly Brewsletter came social media. We started using Facebook primarily as a tool to promote our events (which we began hosting each week at Lenny Boy Brewing, then later, Cabarrus Brewing Co.) and Twitter to push out blog content, but we knew that Instagram was where we could truly grow our community. We've been thrilled to watch as thousands of people have started following along with our journey to grow Charlotte's beer fitness community.
And beyond the hard numbers are the individual stories. Every time someone stays behind at one of our beer fitness classes to tell us how many friends they've made by coming back each week, or that they've lost 15 pounds by doing our weekly classes, or even just that they had a great time and are looking forward to next week... Every positive comment motivates us to continue growing Work For Your Beer to be the best that it can be.
So from the bottom of our hearts, we want to say thank you.

We are so grateful for how much you've helped us grow so far, and we are so excited to continue growing the beer fitness community.
